Can I run the plugin XYZ on Linux?

Basically the answer is No. GSi plugins are compiled for Windows and Mac OSX in VST and AU formats and these executables are not compatible with Linux. However, there are methods to load Windows executables on Linux via a Virtual Machine, which is a sort of an Operating System emulator. This is not a stable solution, not easy to set-up and, most importantly, not supported by GSi. We don't want to discourage you from exploring the power of modern open source platforms based on the Linux kernel, so feel free to browse the web for documentations and how-to guides and make your experiments, but unfortunately GSi can't give you support on this matter, and if something goes wrong, it surely is not a bug in the GSi software.
